Genesis 35:18, "And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, for she died that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin." 

  • Benjamin - the son of the right hand

Genesis 42:38, "And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave."

Jacob's words of blessings:
Genesis  49:27, "Benjamin shall ravin as a wolf: in the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil."

Judges  20:13, " Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Belial, which are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel."

1. Apostle Paul -
Romans  11:1, "For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin."

Acts  7:58, "And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul."

Acts 8:3, "As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison."

Acts  9:1, "And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord.."

1 Samuel 2:30, "But now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed."
